Finding a Student / Deleting Entry

This guide will show Nurses and Nurse Para’s how to search for students in two different ways and how to remove a record if it was mistakenly entered for the incorrect student.

Deleting a Student Record Entry

  1. To find a student in Synergy, click the Magnifying Glass > enter in a student identifier in one of the boxes with a yellow background > click (or press Enter) the blue Find button

  1. To show all students in list form, click the Magnifying Glass (shown above) > green Find button (shown above)

  2. Doing this will open a separate screen and (shown above) that displays all students in the building you are currently set too

  3. Hovering your mouse over a Page Number will display a small, quick name-based organizer that shows which names are on that page without clicking into it - see example below:

  4. When the student of choice is found in the list, double-click the row number, this will close the window and show the selected student record

  5. Once the entry has been finalized, you must click the green Save button to save the record or it will not be saved and lost (example below):

  • If the System Admin gives the proper rights, you will be able to delete an entry for students - if this is setup and confirmed, you will need to click the Check Box next to the row number, then click the green Save button (see example below)
