How to change the lead teacher for classes at the elementary level

  1. In the PowerSchool SIS home page click People → then click Staff → and finally Teacher Schedules

     

  2. In Teacher Schedules select the teacher you wish to change from the side bar

     

  3. On the Teacher Schedule page click the Section Number for the all Classes

     

  4. There are two scenarios when changing teachers - Before the Start of School & After the Start of School

    Before the start of school, click the current staff name box and use the dropdown menu to update to the new teacher.

    During the school year, use the last working date for the end date for the current teacher, then click the Add button then select the new teacher, and enter the start date.



  5. Finally, after selecting a new teacher you’ll need to scroll down to the bottom of the page and clicking the submit button to save the change
