  • Powerschool Bus Rosters - Admins and Secretaries

In PowerSchool SIS, you can easily create a printable bus roster for every student in your district. In this article, we’ll go over how to view, sort, and print the bus roster. We have also added Bus Information to the reports list. Please reference the second half of this article for information on report printing.

    Bus Rosters Express

    1. Log into PowerSchool SIS Admin using your SCASD Credentials.

    2. Click on “People” on the left sidebar, then “Students”.

    3. Click on “Bus Rostering Express {BRX}”

    4. You will see a screen similar to this (Student Names and Numbers have been removed for privacy). Here, you can edit some settings to change the look of the page.

      1. [1] is where you can change the number of rows visible. 10 is default, pictured here is 5.

      2. [2] is an example of Column Headers. You can click on these to sort by their respective entries. The options are Student Number, Student Name, Grade, Homeroom, Bus Number, and Description.

      3. [3] will generate a printable version of the list you’ve created. If you have 10 rows visible, the printable version will show 10 rows.

    Bus Rosters using Reports

We have also added the ability to generate a report for selected students. If you’re familiar with PowerSchool Student Reports, this is the same procedure. You would simply need to select a different form.

    1. Click on “People” on the left sidebar, then “Students.” Click on “Print a Student Report”

    2. Clicking “Print a Student Report” will bring you to this screen. In this example, no students are selected yet. We will generate a report for every student at this school, so we will select “All”. Then, click “Continue”.

    3. You will then see the following screen. The first circled box is a dropdown box with many different report types. For this example, we have chosen “Bus Information”. You may adjust the settings as you need, but we will leave them all default for this article. Once all is set, click “Submit”

    4. The reports queue will then appear where you can view the newly generated Bus Information report.
