PowerSchool Log Entries - Parental / Gaurdian Contact

NOTE: This is not to be used for discipline

Use log entries to create a record of parental contact with a student's parents/guardians. When making a log entry, the system immediately sends the log entry to the PowerSchool server, where it is stored in the student's permanent record. Only authorized staff members can view, add, edit, and delete log entries and discipline alerts.

  1. Search for a student and click the student name from the selected student's section

     

  2. Next, click the Discipline fly-out menu and then select Log Entries

  3. In the Log Entries screen click the New button

     

  4. Next, enter the details in the Log Entries entry screen then click Submit
