Retaining a Student

This article will explain how to retain a student.

Instructions

  1. Open the Pad Tree Menu -> Synergy SIS -> Student

  2. Click on the magnifying glass icon and search for the student

  3. Click Menu, then ‘Edit Student Data’

     

  4. Click on the ‘Enrollment’ tab, then do the following:

    • Under Enrollment Activity enter the Effective Date (use first day of school)

    • Change Grade

    • Click ‘Save’

6. Click on the 'Enrollment History' tab, and do the following:

  • Under the ‘Enrollment History’ table, click on 'School' name link for the current school year

  • Change Entry Code to E4 (Retained)

  • Click ‘Save’

7. Run a STU207 report; print 4 copies (Registration / Building / Nurse / Student File)
