Contact Tracing Module

The Contact Tracing screen allows you to search for students, staff, and siblings who may have come in contact with a specified individual during a specified date range.

 

The Search Criteria section defines the contacted individual.

  • Select Student or Staff as the Person Type

  • Select a Student or Staff

  • Enter a date in Date From. This field is mandatory.

  • Enter a date in To if needed. If the To field is left blank, the date in Date From is used for To

The Options section allows defining the type of data to use for displaying results.

  • By default, all Options are selected

  • Enter the Time Range (+/-) (in minutes) to use when displaying Conference and Health Office data if needed. The default value is 30 minutes.

Note: Bus and Locker options are not available for Staff searches.

 

  • Click Trace

 

The Students section displays the students who came in contact with the specified individual during the specified date range.

Note: This section obeys the Focus option for displaying Active and Inactive students. An alert is displayed if there are contacted students outside of the focus Organization

 

The Details column displays how the student had contact with the specified individual

The Views Column displays links to the screens that can be opened for that student.

The Actions menu allows saving the students in a list and running Reports or Processes for the students in the section

Data can be exported from the three horizontal dots on the right side of the chart

The Staff section displays the staff members who came in contact with the specified individual.

Note: An alert is displayed if there are contacted staff members outside of the focus Organization

 

The Sibling section displays all the siblings of the specified student.

Note: This section does not display for Staff searches.

 

Selecting the Reset button will clear all the criteria allowing for a fresh search
