Successfully Receiving District Emails

The State College Area School District's primary method of communication is email, but there have been reports of parents not receiving these vital communications.  If you feel that you are not receiving all communications from the school district, and they are not in your Spam email folder, then it's possible that your email client is blocking SCASD emails or not directing them into your Inbox.


The steps in the articles below will show you how to allow or 'whitelist' all emails that originate from a SCASD email account (ending in and ensure that your email client is not blocking or redirecting them.

Select the email client you use from the list below, and then follow the steps outlined to set up whitelist rules for that specific email client.  Make sure you check your Spam email folder first to ensure they are not there.
