How to get to Area Signups

Log into StudentVue, click SCASD Links, and then select the link to Middle School Area Signups.

Using Area Signups

You will see “Current signup” with “Area” followed by a number 1 -4 after and “Choose day” with 1 - 6 listed after. “Current signup” is the marking period you are in. “Choose day” is the area cycle day you are viewing courses for. Hovering your mouse over the numbers pops up a blue circle around it. When you click them, they turn blue indicating you are viewing that marking period and day combination.

It is Marking Period 1 and Day 2 is chosen.

Below the day selection, but above the blue line, there’s table that has Day, Event, Section, Location, and Teacher as the headers. This is where you will see the list of courses that are being offered on that day.

If no courses are being offered on that day, you will see “No available choices” listed in the table.

To enroll in a course, click on it in the table. This pops up a box with a detailed description of the course, and gives you the option to add it to your schedule or exit the description.

Once you add a course, you will see it on your schedule which in the table below the blue line.

Note: If you attempt to add a course to your schedule on a day that you are already signed up for something, it will remove you from the course currently on your schedule, and add you to the new one you chose.
