Mirror Chromebook screen for Projection

This is how to change the mirroring settings on the chromebook to display either two separate screens or to display the same screen on both the projector screen and chromebook screen.

Step 1 - Navigating to Settings

  1. Connect the dongle to chromebook and turn on the projector

  2. Open Chromebook settings by clicking on the time located in the bottom-right of the screen

  3. Click on the gear icon at the top of this popup screen

Step 2 - Displays

  1. Scroll down to find the Display settings

 

Step 3 - Setting mirroring setting(s)

  1. Select Mirror Internal Display to switch between mirroring and extending the screen

Step 4 - Finalizing settings

  • The two screens should overlap and display as mirrored

 

USE KEYBOARD SHORTCUT ->

To quickly switch between Mirror and Extended settings, use the CTRL + Maximize buttons on the Chromebook
