    3. If not, you can add it manually listed slightly below

  4. Under Add printers to your profile, click Save next to your printer.

If your printer will not save automatically, follow these steps.

  1. Click Setup next to your printer’s name.

  2. In the box, choose your printer manufacturer and model (This can be found on your printer itself)

  3. Select Add

To add a printer manually, follow these steps.

  1. Follow steps 1 and 2 from the above steps (Opening settings and Print settings)

  2. Select Add Printer manually, and input the following information:

    1. Name: This can be any name, not necessarily the manufacturer’s name

    2. Address: Your printer’s IP Address. You can usually find this in the network settings of your printer.

    3. Protocol: Most printers use the IPP Protocol.

    4. Queue: Most printers use IPP/print

  3. Select Add

If this doesn’t work, you should first confirm you entered your printer’s IP Address correctly. If that is correct, try choosing different options for Protocol and Queue. You can search your printer’s model online and see which Protocol/Queue it uses.

To use a printer with a physical connection (e.g. USB):

  1. Follow steps 1 and 2 from the above steps (Opening settings and Print Settings)

  2. Select Add Printer

  3. Select your printer’s name and click Add
