Visitor Verification Process for Secretaries

 Instructions

  1. To begin, go to the SCASD Classlink Launchpad and click on the Raptor Technologies icon

  2. Enter your SCASD Email Address and click 'Next' to login

  3. On the next screen click ‘Visitor Management’

  4. Ensure the current building is in focus by selecting the school from the drop-down box at the top of the screen

  5. To see who is currently signed in at the building, click ‘Visitors’ on the left side

  6. To see if a visitor is flagged for review, they will appear within the ‘Sign In/Sign Out’ menu under ‘Kiosk Queue'

  7. If a possible match is found, the person will be directed to see the front office staff

  8. On the Raptor site, staff will need to review the possible match

    1. Under ‘Sign in/Sign Out' a red numbered circle will appear beside 'Kiosk Queue’, click text to open

    2. Click ‘Review Alerts’ on the far right side of the flagged user

    3. When the result appears, click either ‘Match’ or ‘No Match’ to select whether they are a match or not

  9. If a positive match is found, please do the following:

    1. If the building admin is in, radio on the building channel and ask for assistance at the office

    2. If the building admin is out, radio on the district channel and ask for assistance at your building office

Only the ‘Visitor’ section is currently active. Students and other groups will be enabled in late September. For right now “visiting employees” will be asked to check in with the office staff when visiting a building until the option becomes available on the iPad. They can be checked in/out by using the Staff option.
