Viewing teacher feedback on assignments in Canvas

Canvas provides a way for teachers to provide feedbacks to students about their coursework. Parents can also view this feedback. Choose the device below to learn how to access assignment feedback in Canvas.

Choose Grades from the Global Navigation column on the left.
If an instructor has provided feedback for an assignment, this feedback will be visible in the Grades report. You can view assignment comments, scoring details, or a scoring rubric [9] whenever you see the below icon:
Smartphones
Teacher feedback and comments are not visible in the mobile app. Parents will have to use the website to see this information.
Parents can set up notifications so that they receive an email when comments have been added to an assignment. Refer to the Alerts and Notifications section for more information.
