Missing Print Deploy Print Icon on Macs

If you are having issues printing and do not currently see the green Print Deploy Icon at the top of your MacBoo where the date and time are, this article can help you restore it.

Instructions

  1. Verify that you are missing the green Print Deploy Icon on the top of your Apple device. If it is there, this may not be the fix for you.

  2. If the icon is missing, open the Manager application.

  3. Elevate your user to an admin by using the Admin on Demand feature.

  4. Once you become an admin on your device, Open Finder.

  5. Go to Applications in Finder.

  6. Scroll down alphabetically and click on the PaperCut Print Deploy Client folder.

  7. Double click the Restart.command option.

  8. The Terminal will run and will require you to enter a password. Enter your password, you will not be able to see what you are typing in real-time. Click the Return key on your keyboard after you enter your password.

  9. The green Print Deploy icon should reappear at the top of your screen next to the date and time. You can click the green Print Deploy icon to verify your printers are installed.
