The following article will show you how to enable Google Classroom for your Synergy class. This method is used if you would like Synergy to create Google Classrooms for you classes that are in Synergy. When this method is used Synergy will create blank Google Classrooms with the name listed in Synergy.

Note: Once Synced you will want to create all assignments and grade assignments in Google Classroom. Students and Parents will still use StudentVue and ParentVue to view current assignments and grades for you class.

Instructions

 

If you are already using Google Classroom, you can link an existing classroom rather than creating a new one using these instructions.

  1. Login to Synergy TeacherVUE and navigate to Gradebook Setup.

  2. Once on the setup screen, select the “Class Settings” option.

  3. Select “Edit” on the left side above the list of your classes.

  4. Locate the class you want to turn classroom on and utilize the toggle to ENABLE Google Classroom. When all desired classes have been selected click “Save” in the top right to commit the change.
