Phone Forwarding
In this article, users can view steps on how to set up forwarding on their phones.
Once this is setup it can be used whenever the user is out on vacation or can be quickly enabled if the user is out sick.
Instructions
The steps to enable this setting are as follows:
Start by navigating to https://scasd.pa.3cx.us:5001/webclient/#/people
Sign in with your extension and the password that was emailed to you:
Select the triple dot icon on the left menu bar and select Settings.
Navigate to the Status page. And select a desired status. We recommend the Do Not Disturb option as this can be easily toggled on/off from the phone.
Set the desired forwarding number for both internal and external calls. This can be set to another extension or also an external number as well. An example is as follows:
Once those are set up you can enable these by setting your status to the corresponding status that was changed. In this example, do not disturb status was changed. By clicking on the do not disturb button on the phone, the forwarding is enabled and turned on.
If the status that was enabled is away or business trip, it can only be enabled through this webpage.
To enable those statuses, select the profile icon at the top right and select the desired status.
Once the forwarding numbers are set users do not need to come back to that page unless it needs to be modified to a different number.
