Transfering Calls

There are 2 ways to transfer a call. Blind transfer is the first method, which immediately transfers the call to the other party without negotiation. Line Supervision

Line supervision gives users the ability to pick up the call for other users. Once programmed into the phone, these will show up on the side of the screen with the extension number and name. If a supervised line is green, that means the extension number is free to talk.

If the supervised line starts to flash red, the extension is currently receiving a call. During this time, pressing the screen on that extension will answer the call for that user. If the supervised key is solid red, it means that extension is currently on a call or unavailable.

Extension lookup is now located in ClassLink under “District Resources” → “Phone Extension Lookup - Offices/Rooms” Alternatively, it can be found at this link.
