ML Schedules - Calendar Filtering

Users can utilize this guide to add a filter to the ML Schedules calendar to provide an easier viewing experience.

Instructions

To create a filter for the ML Schedules Calendar, follow these instructions:

  1. Start by signing in to ML Schedules

  2. Select Calendar from the navigation panel on the left.

  3. Select the Filter button towards the top left.

  4. Select the desired filtering field and use the drop down to select the desired value.

     

  5. Add a Filter Name

  6. Click Save Filters

Filter Options

Below are the possible filters that can be done:

  1. Sites → SCASD buildings

  2. Spaces → Specific rooms

  3. Space Types → Classroom, conference room, fields, etc.

  4. Classifications → Filter by internal and external groups

  5. Groups → Filter by specific groups

  6. Statuses → Approved, Cancelled, Pending, etc.

  7. Fields → Filter by events with fields that are filled in. This could be useful for filtering events that have custodial, IT support, or food service needs.

 

Switch between Filters

On the calendar screen there is a Saved Filters button.

Selecting this button allows users to pick between the saved filters and delete saved filters.

When a filter is selected, this button will change to Clear Filters.

Select this will allow the user to revert back to no active filter.
