    The DRC INSIGHT testing app is used for online assessments such as the Keystone and PSSA exams. On Chromebooks, this app is accessed through the kiosk mode, which allows students to take tests securely without logging into their Chromebook user account. The app is available on the sign-in screen and ensures that the testing environment is controlled and secure.

    How to Use the Keystone DRC Testing App on a Chromebook

    1. Sign Out of the Chromebook:

      • If you are currently signed into the Chromebook, click on the menu by the clock in the bottom-right corner of the screen.

      • Select “Sign out” to return to the sign-in screen.

    2. Access the Kiosk Menu:

      • On the sign-in screen, look for the “Apps” menu in the bottom-left corner.

      • Click on the “Apps” menu to see a list of available kiosk apps.

    3. Select the DRC INSIGHT App:

      • From the list of kiosk apps, select the “DRC INSIGHT Online Assessment” app.

      • The app will begin to load. Please wait a few seconds for it to fully load.

    4. Choose the Test:

      • Once the app is loaded, you will see options for different tests.

      • For Keystone exams, select “Pennsylvania” as your testing option.

    5. Follow Testing Instructions:

      • Follow the instructions provided by your teacher or test administrator.

      • Enter any required login credentials or codes to begin the test.

    6. Complete the Test:

      • After completing the test, you can exit the app by clicking the exit button.

      • You will be returned to the Chromebook sign-in screen.

    7. Sign Back In:

      • You can now sign back into your Chromebook user session if needed.
