This guide will serve as a jumpstart to users who are not fully familiar with Google Classroom.
How to create a class
In the top right corner of your Google Classroom homepage, select the + sign, then select Create Class
How to add students
In the navigation bar at the top of the classroom page, select People
You will see an option for students listed and also an invite students icon. Select the invite students icon

You will now have the option of inviting students by name or email address. You may also send your students a class code which is listed beneath the students option to invite them to the class. |
Navigating to assignments and quizzes
In the navigation bar at the top of the page, click Classwork
Click +Create to create an Assignment, Quizzes...etc
How to share resources
On the Stream page of your classroom, select the box that says Share something with your class
You will now have the option of sharing a message and can also attach files, links, and Youtube videos with your entire class or select students
Creating Assignments
In the Create an assignment window, you can choose Add and attach an item directly from your Google Drive, add a webpage link, attach a file from your computer and attach a Youtube video
You can also choose + Create to make a Google Doc, Slide, Sheet, Drawing, or Forum
Creating a quiz
In the create a quiz window, it will give you the same options as creating an assignment except a Google Form is automatically generated to use for the quiz
How to share resources
