    Parents/guardians and students can download the PowerSchool Mobile app to quickly access class overviews, graded and outstanding assignments, attendance, and GPA. The app is available for both Apple and Android devices. You must have already created your website login to be able to access the app on your device.

    Use the QR codes to the right to link to the PowerSchool Mobile App page in your device’s app store.

    • In order to login to the app you will need the District Code. You can find this four letter code on the website at the bottom of the side navigation:

    This is not the actual district code, just an example. You will need to login to the website to find the code.

    The District Code for the State College Area School District is RZPG.

    • Once you have the code you can open the app on your device. You will be required to input the code on the first screen that opens. Upon inputting the code the blue “Continue” button will become active and you can click to proceed:

    • Select the appropriate role on the next screen, and input your Username and Password when prompted:

    • Successful authentication will bring you to the Dashboard.

    The Navigation Bar is located at the bottom of your screen. Detailed information about each item can be found in the sections below.

    1. Class Overview
      Provides a quick overview of each of the classes a student is enrolled in with a course card. Each course card will display an icon at the start of the school year. Once there are graded items in the gradebook for graded courses the card will display the current overall grade for the chosen term (2). Courses that are not graded (such as homeroom or study halls) will continue to show the icon:

      Clicking on individual course cards will take you to a new screen with detailed information including teacher information, grade, assignments and attendance.

    1. Term Selector
      Change the term (marking period, semester, year) to view the information for that specific term.

    1. Student Selector
      If you have more than one student in the district you can switch between clicking on the student to bring up a selection menu.

    Scroll down past the Class Overview section to locate the Assignments and Attendance sections

    • The term selector allows you to switch between the different views for the student’s schedule. (The selected view is indicated by a light blue box at top)

    • The Grid View (first image to the right) shows all the classes and grades by term.

      • You can click on term grades to be taken to the detailed course view.

    • Term Views (second image to the right) shows the classes, periods, and room numbers.

      • You must select a course to be taken to the detailed course view.

    • Clicking on individual days in the month will display upcoming assignment information below the calendar.

    Displays the student’s schedule for the current week similar the to Weekly schedule on the website.

    Clicking on the More button will bring up additional features. The Tools feature is not in use at this time; see below to learn what the other features do:

    • Forms: allows you to view and electronically sign forms such as the handbook, device agreements etc.

    • Account: Change push notifications and view linked students (parent/guardians only)

    • School: Displays the address of the school the current student selected attends.

    • Help: Hints and tips on how to use the app

    • About: Send feedback to PowerSchool about the app, see app version information.
