How to Upload Files to ParentSquare

Photos, Videos, Files, or links can be added to:

  • Group Pages by Group Owners

  • Classroom pages by Teachers, School Admin, or District Admin

  • School Pages by School or District Admin

  • District Pages by District Admin

 

NOTE: A post will NOT be created and a notification will NOT be sent out.

 Instructions

  1. Navigate to the home page of the school, district, class, or group. Start from the school home page if you are uploading files for a grade level.

  2. Click on Photos, Videos & Files from the left sidebar.

  3. Click on the Files tab.

  4. You may create a new folder and a file or files to it by clicking “+ Add Files.” Alternatively, you may add a file or files to an existing folder by clicking on the cogwheel icon for the folder, choosing Edit/Add Files and following the prompts.

  5. (Optional) When creating a new folder, fill out the folder name, who this should be shared with (district, school, class, grade level, or group), and a description.

  6. Click Upload Files and follow the prompts.

  7. Click Share.

When uploading photos or videos, consider using a file format that is compatible with other users. By default, some Apple products such as iPhones and iPads may save videos and images in HEVC and HEIC format respectively, and may cause issues viewing on non-Apple devices.
