Setting Up Duo Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) on Your Cell Phone

Follow these steps to set up Duo 2FA on your smartphone:

1. Receive Enrollment Email:

   • You will receive an email invitation from Duo to enroll in 2FA. Open this email on your smartphone.

2. Install Duo Mobile App:

   • Download and install the Duo Mobile app from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android).

3. Begin Enrollment:

   • Open the enrollment email and click on the provided link. This will direct you to the Duo enrollment page.

4. Scan QR Code:

   • On the Duo enrollment page, you will see a QR code. Open the Duo Mobile app on your phone, tap the “+” button, and scan the QR code displayed on your computer screen.

5. Complete Setup:

   • Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup. You may be asked to allow notifications and access to your camera for scanning the QR code.

6. Test Duo 2FA:

   • After completing the setup, test Duo 2FA by logging into a district application. Enter your username and password, then approve the Duo push notification sent to your phone.
