What data syncs between Records and eFinance?

This article is to help provide users with an understanding of how data flows between Employee Records and eFinancePlus.

Overview

The data sync process between eFinancePlus (eFP) and Employee Records can depend on two main factors:

  1. Where the data is being initially changed.

  2. The employee’s status in eFinancePlus

Data always flows from eFinancePlus into Records.

For pending employees, data between eFP and Records flows both ways. Data that is changed in one system will sync into the other system and vice versa.

For active or deactivate employees, data automatically flows from eFP into Records, however data will not always automatically flow from Records into eFP. In this case, most changes will create an effective date change request that requires additional steps. The following data syncs between the two systems.

  • Employee Name

  • Email

  • Personal Email

  • Primary Location

  • Phone Number

  • SSN

  • Address

  • DOB

  • Gender
