Schoology - Respondus Lockdown Browser

     Instructions

    1. Once you are in the correct course, you will either need to make a new quiz, or if you have a quiz created already, you can click on the LockDown Browser button near the bottom of the left column

    2. Once you click on Lockdown Browser, you will see your quizzes for that section. You can then click on the down pointing arrow next to a quiz to adjust the settings.

    3. T\he initial LockDown Browser Setting is set to “Don’t require Respondus Lockdown Browser for this exam”, if you would like to use the lockdown browser, click on the bubble to “Require Respondus Lockdown Browser for this Exam”

      1. This will show advanced settings which include the following:

        1. Lock Student into the browser until exam is completed

        2. Allow access to specific external web domains

        3. Enable Calculator on the toolbar

        4. Enable Printing from the toolbar

      2. Proctoring options are also available. Live proctoring allow assistance via a video meeting software, such as Google Meet, and will allow the student to communicate directly with the teacher

    4. Once you’re options are set, you can click the Save + Close button
