Accessing System Reports & Print Student Reports in PowerSchool SIS

This guide explains how to access System Reports in PowerSchool SIS and generate predefined or custom student reports such as Transcripts, SCASD Directory Release Information, Student Lockers, and Student Email Lists.


Accessing Predefined System Reports

  1. Log in to PowerSchool SIS.

  2. In the left navigation menu, hover over Data and Reporting.

  3. Click on Reports.

  4. Select System Reports from the fly-out menu.

You’ll now see a list of predefined reports available in PowerSchool. These reports are organized into tabs such as:

  • Class Ranking

  • Attendance

    • Truency - Note: Only use the View Only option or the Levels Reached Option

      • Don’t use the Extract used by Cindy Surgeon

  • Scheduling

  • Grades

  • And More

To run a report:

  1. Click the name of the report.

  2. Configure any required parameters (e.g., date range, student selection).

  3. Click Submit to generate the report.


Print a Student Report Option - SCASD Specific Reports

To print or export custom reports for individual or groups of students:

  1. Search for and select the student(s) you want to include. Example: All 10th Grade

  2. Scroll to the bottom of the student list and click Group Functions.

  3. Select Print a Student Report.

  4. From the dropdown menu, choose the report you wish to generate:

Click Submit to generate the report.

These reports can be printed directly or saved as PDFs for sharing or record-keeping.
