Installing Riverside Data Manager App for Students

Riverside Data Manager is an application students will use to complete their CoGAT test. Students will need to download the application from the Play Store

💻 Getting Started with your Students

Have your students open their chromebooks and login using their username and password

  • They will then need to click on the Launcher, which is the small black circle inside the larger white circle. Launcher is located on the left side of the students “Shelf” or Dock. Your students Shelf may be located on the bottom, left or right side of the screen and could also be set to Autohide, so the student will have to hover on the bottom, left, or right of the screen for the shelf to appear.

  • After your students click on Launcher, they will need to click on Play Store

  • Your students will then need to click in the Search Box at the top of the Play Store window and type in Riverside DataManager

  • The Riverside app will then come up for students to click on

  • After you click on the app, you can click on the Install button. After a few seconds, the app will install.

  • Once students install the app, it can be accessed again from the Launcher on their shelf

  • Once your students launch the Riverside app, they will be asked to Take a Test

  • They may also receive a message asking to Pin the app to their shelf. Students can choose either option

  • Students will then be taken to the Sign In page for their test taking in the lockdown browser. Students will not be able to open new tabs or switch to different apps once they are in this state.

  • Students can exit the test by pressing the power button on the side of their chromebook and shutting their device down
