🚀 DocHub Quickstart Guide

📂 Getting Started: Upload or Create a Document

You can begin in three ways:

  • Upload from your device: Click “New Document” → “Upload” to add PDFs, Word docs, or images.

  • Import from cloud storage: Connect Google Drive, Dropbox, or OneDrive to pull in files directly.

  • Create a blank document: Use “Create Blank Document” to build a form or template from scratch.

Once uploaded, your document opens in the editor.

✏️ Editing Tools: Make Your Mark

DocHub offers a full suite of editing tools:

  • Text Tool: Click the “Text” icon to add or modify text anywhere on the page.

  • Whiteout Tool: Cover up existing content with a white overlay—perfect for corrections.

  • Highlight Tool: Select text and apply color to emphasize key points.

  • Draw Tool: Freehand annotations using your mouse or touchscreen.

  • Image Tool: Insert logos, profile pictures, or scanned signatures.

  • Stamp Tool: Add pre-made stamps like “Approved” or “Confidential.”

  • Field Tool: Create fillable fields (text boxes, checkboxes, dropdowns) for forms.

Tip: Use the toolbar at the top to switch between tools quickly.

✍️ Sign Documents: Add or Request Signatures

DocHub makes signing easy:

  • Add your own signature:

    • Click “Sign” → “Create Signature”

    • Choose to draw, type, or upload an image

    • Drag your signature into place

  • Request signatures from others:

    • Click “Request Signature”

    • Enter recipient emails

    • Assign signature fields

    • Send and track progress from your dashboard

You’ll get notified when others sign.

🤝 Share and Collaborate

You can share documents in several ways:

  • Share via link:

    • Click “Share” → generate a link

    • Choose permissions: view-only, comment, or edit

  • Email directly:

    • Send the document from DocHub with a message

  • Collaborate in real time:

    • Multiple users can edit or comment simultaneously

    • Use the “Comment” tool to leave feedback or ask questions

📤 Save, Export, and Print

Once your document is ready:

  • Download: Export as PDF, DOCX, or image file

  • Save to cloud: Sync back to Google Drive, Dropbox, or OneDrive

  • Print: Send directly to your printer or save as a print-ready file
