Raptor Alert is SCASD’s mobile emergency management system, empowering staff to initiate alerts, request assistance, and account for students during drills or real emergencies. It’s available on mobile devices and through ClassLink on laptops.
📱 Download & Setup (iOS and Android)
✅ Step-by-Step Installation:
Open the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android)
Search for Raptor Alert
Tap Download or Install
Open the app and log in using your SCASD credentials
Allow notifications and location access when prompted
This ensures accurate communication and accountability during emergencies

🚨 Triggering an Alert
SCASD staff can initiate alerts directly from the Raptor Alert app. Alerts are sent to administrators, first responders, and designated safety teams.

✅ SCASD-Specific Emergency Alerts:
Evacuation – Used for fire or environmental threats
Lockdown – Used for active threats inside the building
Stay-Put – Used for external threats or hallway restrictions

🧠 Team Assists are ideal for situations where help is needed but a full emergency response is not required.
✅ How to Trigger an Alert:
Open the Raptor Alert app
Tap the appropriate alert type
Hold and Slide to trigger alert
If applicable, use the Call 911 button
Follow building protocols (e.g., PA announcements, fire alarms) as needed

During drills or emergencies, teachers must account for students using Raptor Alert.

During an event or drill open the event and your class roster will appear in the app
Mark students as Accounted For, Missing, Absent, or Injured

💻 Laptop Access via ClassLink
Teachers who prefer to use a laptop can access Raptor Alert through ClassLink.

Open your browser and go to the ClassLink Launchpad
Click the Raptor Alert icon
Log in with your SCASD credentials
