SCASD uses Raptor Visitor Management Kiosks at building entrances to enhance safety and streamline check-ins. These kiosks support secure guest access and track itinerant staff movement between buildings.


👤 Visitor Check-In Instructions

Visitors must check in at the Raptor Kiosk upon arrival.

✅ Step-by-Step:

  1. Approach the Raptor Kiosk located in the building’s secure vestibule or main entrance

  2. Scan your driver’s license using the built-in ID scanner

    • The system will run a quick background check and verify your identity

  3. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete your check-in

  4. A guest badge will automatically print from the kiosk’s label printer

    • Please wear this badge visibly while in the building

🧠 If you’re unable to scan your license, staff can assist with manual entry. All visitors are screened before being cleared by the system.


🧑‍💼 Employee Check-In for Itinerant Staff

Only itinerant employees—those who do not have a designated home building—need to check in and out using the Raptor Kiosk.

✅ When to Use:

  • Upon arrival at any SCASD building

  • Before departing to another location

✅ How to Check In/Out:

  1. Approach the Raptor Kiosk

  2. Select Staff Check-In/Out on the screen

  3. Enter your SCASD username and password

  4. Confirm your check-in or check-out status

  5. You’re now logged for that building
