How to Link Courses in Schoology
Linking courses in Schoology allows teachers to manage multiple sections of the same class under one shared set of materials, updates, and gradebook settings. This streamlines workflow and ensures consistency across sections.
✅ When to Link Courses
You teach multiple sections of the same course (e.g., English 9 Periods 1, 3, and 5).
You want to post assignments, updates, and materials once and have them appear in all linked sections.
You want a unified grade setup across sections.
⚠️ Important: Only courses that have not yet received student submissions or grades can be linked. Once linked, the action cannot be undone.
