How to Account for Your Students

Here is how you would account for your students during a Raptor Alert Scenario

 Instructions

 

Raptor Alert App

  1. Open the Raptor App

  2. Sign in to the app using your SCASD credentials

  3. Navigate to Incidents

  4. Tap on the Emergency that was initiated

  5. Tap “My Profile & Roster.”

  6. Tap “View Roster.”

  7. Tap the class you have with you

  8. Select your students and give them the appropriate Status and Location

Raptor Alert Website

  1. Access the Raptor Alert Login Website

  2. In the Main menu, ensure you select the correct building, then select Products > Emergency Management

  3. Click Access Incident on the Dashboard workspace

  4. Select My Profile & Roster in the navigation menu

  5. In the Quick Tasks, click Access my rosters or Walk me through taking attendance

  6. Click Select next to the appropriate roster (Schedule and Period) to open the Roster Detail workspace

  7. Select the check box(es) next to the students you are accounting for and then click Update Status & Location

  8. Select the Status

  9. Select the Location or add a new location and then click Update

  10. Repeat Step 7 through Step 9 until all the students on the roster have been updated

Note:

Individuals in bold have not had their status and location updated. Your name should not be bold since you have completed accounting for yourself.
