Creating an Observation as a Teacher in PowerTeacher Pro

Observations are how Teachers can document situations that happen at school. This function in PowerTeacher Pro gives Teachers this ability in the event something needs to be documented for future reference, usually before an incident is created to pursue further action.

 Instructions

  1. Login to PowerSchool Teacher SIS, then access PowerTeacher Pro

  1. Next, click the + then Observation

  1. Add a participant using the Type, Filter by class, and Name drop-downs. When found, make sure to press the + Add button to link them to the observation.

  2. Fill in the other required details and optional details, including location, description, title, etc.

  3. Click Save observation at the bottom when finished

  4. That’s it, you’ve successfully created an Observation in PowerTeacher Pro!

You can only create an observation for students within your roster.
