How Can Learning Support Teachers View Students Grades From Other Classes
Some teachers may email asking to have a special ed teacher added to their class so they can see a student they are support. The SPED teacher won’t need added to the class because that would give them access to students that aren’t on their caseload, so the SPED teacher can sign into Schoology to see their students by following these directions.
Instructions
Sign into schoology: scasd.schoology.com
Across the top row of menu items, they can Choose Tools and then Advisor Dashboard
Next they can click in the search box and either type in the first or last name of the student they are looking for or they can click on the little person on the right hand side to bring up all the students on their caseload that they can then choose
After they click on a student, they can then click on the Grades button on the left side, which will bring them to the Marking Period selection. After they choose the correct marking period, they can then see a list of materials the student has been using for that class.
*For case managers, they will need to work with their students to have them share the "Schoology Assignments" folder in their Google Drive with them so that they can see the content that is submitted for an assignment.
**For district or building wide support staff we will use the advisor role so they can look up any student at any time.
