When utilizing a shared space in the school for large groups, such as an auditorium or multi-purpose room, the technology available can significantly enhance the experience. These spaces are typically equipped with advanced projection systems and various other technologies to support presentations, meetings, and events.

How to use TVs:
The Pit has a number of TV’s placed around the central stage area. All of these TV’s will display the screen of any device connected to the wallplate input. TV’s can be powered on from the control panel. If a TV does not power on from the control panel, the remove can be located in the bottom drawer of the Audio Mixer.

HDMI: Video and Audio through an HDMI input (Most common use case)

VGA: Video through an VGA cable. Note, VGA does not carry audio. To pass through audio, connect an audio cable from the VGA connected device, to the Audio In port.

Audio System / Microphone:
The Delta Audio system is typically left on and in a default configuration for weekly ASMs. If audio levels need to be adjusted, please use the control panel instead of the Audio Mixer.

The Delta Audio Mixer is located in the storage closet by the cafeteria.

In the bottom drawer, there are Lav microphones, extra batteries, and remotes for the TVs.

4 handheld mics are left beside the rack in charging stations. Simply take any of the microphones and switch them to the on position to begin using them.

LAV microphones are also available in the bottom drawer of the audio panel.

How to use the Control Panel

Powering on the Control Panel: Press the power button in the top right corner

Switching to the Video Control Screen: Press TV Control

Turn individual TVs on or off: Press the power button under the TV Monitor.

Selecting Wallplate Input:

Auto: Automatically selects the last connected device
HDMI: Selects the HDMI input
VGA: Selects the VGA and Audio jack input

Switching to the Audio Control Screen: Press Audio Levels

Adjusting Volume: Select the up or down arrow of the audio source you’d like to change
Muting: Press mute under the audio source to turn off the audio for that source

WM-1 through WM-4: Handheld wireless microphones
WM-5 and WM-6: Lav microphones
Media: Audio from the wallplate input

Turn all TVs on: Press the All TVs Power On button

Turn all TVs off: Press the All TVs Power Off button

Setup and Exit System buttons are for authorized personnel

only.
