Unified Talent - Evaluations and Professional Learning
The district recently added to our Powerschool’s Unified Talent platform. This employee-related platform includes several software packages that will be utilized in the district for the upcoming school year. Below will be a breakdown of what each package does and how it impacts you moving forward. The packages in Unified Talent and their anticipated “launch” dates are as follows:
Applicant Tracking - (Launched) “TalentEd” for job postings and applications
Records - (Launched) Electronic employee document submissions for HR and Finance
Employee Access Center - (Launched) Employee financial information
Perform - (Launching 8/14/2023 for instructional positions) Employee evaluation software
Professional Learning - (Launching 9/1/2023) Employee professional development
Access to these resources will become available after they have been fully launched. Links will be added to the Employee Resources page.
How does this change impact me?
The main change for existing employees will be Perform and Professional Learning. These products will be replacing MyLearningPlan for the upcoming school year. The following graphic provides a quick reference for the new software packages.
Training/Help?
We will be providing training resources to impacted employees in the coming weeks and additional information will also be provided during the week of inservice and throughout the school year. Additionally, we have already created the following helpful resources that you can review at your convenience.
Detailed Information about each Packag
Applicant Tracking – Help Guide
This is the same application that the district has been using for years, “Talent Ed.” It has just received a new name from the vendor. The software package allows for internal and external stakeholders to view and apply for open job postings at the district.
Employee Access Center – Help Guide
This is the same application that the district has been using for years, we just recently updated it to the latest version so there are some user interface changes and updates. The software package allows for district employees to view financial information related to their employment with the district.
The Employee Records software allows employees to complete or update common Human Resources and/or Payroll paperwork online rather than filling out a physical copy. Some examples of these forms include direct deposit, employee name changes, life beneficiary designation, and background clearances. In addition, the district will utilize this system for records updates for employment with the district such as employee agreements. Employees are also able to see current and past documents that have been submitted. *Historical paper submissions will be added over the coming years.
With PowerSchool Unified Talent Perform you can manage, and conduct teacher evaluations and observations. In Perform you can provide constructive feedback and recommend professional development opportunities for evaluations and observations you will conduct with your faculty and staff. This new system is replacing the previous process for evaluations conducted in MyLearningPlan.
During the coming year - we will migrate non-instructional performance evaluations to this platform.
Professional Learning - Help Guide
All District staff will have the opportunity to sign up for Professional Development courses the district will offer. The district will start utilizing this system in the near future for all our professional development sessions, and more information will be forthcoming.
We will continue to provide updates as they become available.
