(Duplicate) Phish Alert

This article describes how to use the KnowBe4 Phish Alert feature to report suspicious emails.

This feature is available in Gmail and is located in the information bar that is across the top part of your Gmail window and appears as an orange fishing hook.

This extension will also appear along with your Chrome extensions in your Chrome Browser

How do I report a suspicious email?

  1. Click on the suspicious email to open it and then click the phish alert icon

  2. You will then be prompted with a small gray box in the bottom left corner of your Chrome window and you can click on the Report button to report the email as Phishing

  3. If the email was part of a simulated exercise you’ll be notified that you correctly identified the email. If the email was not part of a simulated exercise then IT Services will be automatically notified to investigate the email and you can safely delete it from your inbox.
