Connecting a Current Google Classroom to Synergy

If you currently already have a Google Classroom that you use you can connect it to Synergy Gradebook.

Instructions

  1. Open Google Classroom 

     

     

  2. Select the class you want to connect and copy the class code

     

  3. Next Open Synergy TeacherVue and Login

  4. Open gradebook setup

     

  5. Click Class Settings from the tab bar

     

  6. Click Edit on the left hand side of the page

     

  7. Find the Column the says Google Classroom and turn them on

     

  8. Go to advanced settings for each class and Paste in the class Code

     

  9. Go to the G icon in Synergy: and click on the settings cog

     

  10. Click on the default Assignment type (something you always do in the classroom) Change the default category and default point value to whatever points you normally give. If most of your Homework assignments are 10 points
