Adding and Viewing Student Service Learning Hours

This article will show users how to log / track Student Service Hours in the Synergy SIS

Adding Student Service Hours

  1. Log into Synergy SIS > Course History > Student Service Learning

  2. When in the Student Service Learning screen, click the magnifying glass to find the student hours need entered for

  3. Click Find or press Enter / (or Return on Macs) to show results

  4. This will display the results for the searched student

  5. To enter more time for the student, click the +Add button on the Service Learning Hours grey box header

  6. After entering the student hours information please click Save

Viewing Total Hours for Student

Viewing total hours for a student will only show what has previously been entered in Synergy and saved for the student.

  1. Navigate to Synergy SIS > Course History > Student Course History > Graduation Requirements (TAB)

  2. When in the Graduation Requirements tab, search for the student in question, find the Graduation Requirements Options box, then select the Graduation Requirement in it’s dropdown. After this is done, click Apply Requirement button

  3. To view the students total accumulated hours, scroll down to the Service Learning Requirement box to view Service Learning Hours Required and their total Service Learning Hours earned
