How to Activate ParentVue Account (existing students)

If you currently have students enrolled in the district but do not yet have a ParentVue account set up, please follow the instructions below to create your ParentVue account.

NOTE: Each parent or guardian can have their own account setup, but an email address must be on file from Registration for each account.

Contact Registration at 814-231-1017 or to update the email addresses on file


Step 1:

Open a web browser and go to and click the ‘Activate Account’ icon

Step 2:

Review the ​Privacy Statement​ and click “I​ Accept​”

Step 3:

Contact IT Support at 814-231-7743 or email to get an Activation Key

You will be asked for some basic information for security purposes to confirm your identity.

Once you have the Activation Key, enter your First Name,​ ​Last Name, and the Activation Key.

Click “C​ontinue to Step 3”

Step 3:

Enter a ​User Name,​ ​Password,​ and Primary E-Mail​ and click “C​omplete Account Activation​”

You are now in ​ParentVUE!​

Note: Each parent should create their own ParentVUE account (i.e. not share the same account). Each account contains the same information about your student(s). Additionally, if you have multiple children attending SCASD, you do not need to create a separate ParentVUE account for each child. The information for your child/all children is accessible from the same account.  

Using the ParentVUE Mobile App:

*You must activate your ParentVUE web portal account before using the ParentVUE mobile app

  1. Go to your iOS or Android App store.

  2. Search the store for the free "ParentVUE" app by Edupoint and download and install the app. 

  3. Once you have installed the app, you can search for your School District’s name by zip code from within the app. Use your newly created ParentVUE account username and password (as part of the "ParentVUE Activation Directions" above) to log in and see your child's school information on your mobile device.
