How to set Sharp Copier configuration [INTERNAL]

This guide explains how the Sharp Copiers are configured and can serve as a template for all Sharp Copier setups

Assigning IP Address

Once the IP is assigned in inventory it will need assigned on the device

  1. Select System Settings button

  2. Log on with administrator

  3. Select network settings option

  4. Type in IP address

  5. Type in Subnet (255.255.248.0 for all buildings but HN/ HS, 255.255.240.0 for HN/ HS)

  6. type in Gateway (10.XX.16.1, XX being building number)

  7. Save changes and exit, you may need to reboot the printer to save changes.

  8. Contact the IS department to add IP address to SNMP table - it will not scan on network until that is done. There are 2 tables that need to be updated on balder.scasd.org

SMTP Settings

  1. Select Network Settings on the side menu

  2. Scroll down to SMTP Settings Header

  3. Enter the information shown below

    1. A password is needed in this section. Click on Change Password Execute a test and submit

 

LDAP Settings

  1. Select Network Settings on the side menu

  2. Scroll down to LDAP Settings Header

  3. Enter the information shown below

    1. A password is needed in this section. Click on Change Password Execute a test and submit
