Solution

1. Click the Start Button and then click the Settings Icon

2. In the Settings dialog box, click the Apps icon.

3. In the Apps window, scroll down until you see the Intel Wi-Fi application, click on that and then click the Uninstall button.

4. A new window will open showing you the status of the uninstallation. Once this finishes the computer will require a restart. Restart the machine and the slow network issues for opening files on Krypton should be cleared up.
