Lending Chromebook Spares to Students

This guide explains what to do when a student forgets to bring their Chromebook for the day

Instructions

 

Middle School

  1. The teacher will need to send an email to the Depot IT Para or call the depot with the name of the student who will be coming to borrow a Repair Spare for the day.

  2. Students are only allowed to borrow a repair spare for a forgotten chromebook once every 30 days

High School

  1. The teacher will need to send an email to the Depot IT Para or call the depot or write it on the hall pass with the name of the student who will be coming to borrow a Repair Spare for the block.

  2. Students will need to return the device at the end of the block and if they need a new one for the next block an email or phone call from the teacher will be required again
