How to Adjust Energy Saver Settings

Increase time before computer screen shuts off due to inactivity.

Where to navigate

  1. Open System Preferences

  2. Select "Energy Saver"

Making adjustments

  1. In the settings, select "Battery" and move the sliding selector to the time in which the screen with turn off due to inactivity.

  2. Select "Power Adapter" and move the sliding selector to the time in which the screen with turn off due to inactivity while plugged into a power adapter.

  3. Close "System Preferences" and the settings are saved.
