SCASD is using the Early Access Program (EAP) to provide teachers with access to Google Breakout Rooms.  The icons and locations may change slightly as Google updates features.

Instructions

  1. After you've joined your Google Meet, select the triangle-square-circle icon in the upper right-hand corner

  2. Select Breakout Rooms from the list of options

  3. Inside of the breakout room menu, you can create up to 100 breakout rooms and assign attendees to the necessary rooms

  4. Once you are ready to start the breakout rooms, click "Create"

    1. Once breakout rooms are started you can click "Join" to jump into any room

    2. Clicking End Breakouts will bring all attendees back to the main room
